A note from Sheila

This isn't a 'tips on childbirth' site
It is about the driving forces and the social concerns that sustain Sheila Kitzinger's passion about birth.
She hopes it will interest pregnant women, mothers, midwives and others involved with the quality of childbirth and support for parents.

Sheila is not trying to sell you anything, though you can find out about her books, and buy them, through this site.
She is here to stimulate your questioning, validate your feelings, to support the science and art of midwifery, and to share your journey of self-discovery.
